Take a guess: which tune does Korn drummer Ray Luzier sing under the shower every morning? Don’t know? Watch the video, and find out, as well as a couple more things about the 45 year old lifer of music.
Raymond Lee Luzier has been drumming for 40 years now and is living his dream. He is also one of the latest additions to Vic Firth’s prestigious artist roster. Luckily you don’t have to be a dead drummer, like Keith Moon, to be awarded with a Vic Firth signature stick in 2016.
Korn, KXM and other bands
Of course Korn is the band most people associate Ray Luzier with, but he also has his own band called KXM. And in the past time he swung his sticks for these bands: Jonathan Davis And The SFA, Army Of Anyone, Shenkar, Billy Sheehan, Tracy G and David Lee Roth.
I had the pleasure to do a quick interview with funky hard rock drummer Ray Luzier at the Vic Firth booth at the NAMM Show in Anaheim. Find out, what was important to Ray when designing his personal perfect pair of sticks which he seems to love very much.
